Dr. Tucker has been involved fulltime in human IVF for over three decades, and has worked across the world in four continents. He is laboratory director of several successful IVF programs in the USA, most notably Shady Grove Fertility based in Maryland. He also functions at an executive level for a nationally recognized cryo-bank, Xytex Cryo International. He is co-author of more than 130 peer-reviewed papers, also written over 70 chapters and course syllabi, and in addition has been co-author/editor of two text books on ART and vitrification to date. He has been a frequent speaker at many meetings throughout the world. As part of his research he has been responsible for certain ART ‘firsts’ throughout the decades, such as the first IVF and cryo-embryo babies in China; the first ICSI babies and cryo-egg offspring in the USA; and the first cryo-donor-egg babies worldwide. Dr. Tucker lives with his wife and four children in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an avid motorcyclist, and still competes at a national level in offroad racing in the geriatric Master Class.
