Mary Johnston received a BSN from Benedictine University, Lisle and her First Assistant Certificate from Prairie State College, Chicago Heights. She was one of the first nurses to obtain certification in Operating Room nursing and one of the first seven RNs to complete the RN First Assistant program in the state of Illinois. Mary helps to guide patients through surgery and recovery helping to make the process less traumatic and coordinates many of the studies her practice is involved in, including the treatment of fibroids, endometriosis and new surgical devices.
